We provide structured, therapeutic residential care tailored to the individual needs of each young person. Our approach is supported by specialist input, including forensic psychology oversight to inform assessment and risk management, alongside therapeutic interventions such as play therapy and animal assisted therapy. Together, these elements help create a safe, consistent environment where young people can build trust, develop emotional resilience, and achieve positive long-term outcomes.
At the core of our work is the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to build a strong foundation for their future. Through compassionate, personalised care in a safe, nurturing environment, we empower children and young people to grow, heal, and thrive. Our small, dedicated team provides the support needed for emotional well-being, life skills development, and a sense of belonging. By fostering trust, resilience, and confidence, we help young people develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges and create a bright, successful future.
We know that starting a new chapter can feel overwhelming, but here, you’ll always have a safe space where you are truly valued. We will listen to you, support you, and be there every step of the way. Our small team is dedicated to making sure you feel heard, respected, and cared for. You will have the freedom to grow at your own pace, knowing that we are here to guide, encourage, and celebrate every step of your journey. Together, we’ll build a foundation for your future, filled with hope, trust, and new possibilities

At Cairnara, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for our young people. Our primary focus is on creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment in semi-rural homes with a capacity of no more than two young people. This small-scale, family-like model offers all the benefits of fostering, individualised care and emotional support, while maintaining the consistency, safety, and stability that the best residential care settings can provide. Cairnara aims to provide bespoke, personalised care, helping young people thrive through stability and emotionally connected relationships.
